Sailing

Last week we went sailing for the first time (for both myself and Tyler) with Janice and her friend (now also our friend!) Ross.
It's Ross's boat and it's beautiful:
When we got there it was up on these stilts from having some work done, and Tyler was helping Ross get some stuff on and off the boat before it got put in the water.

Then when they got the big thing to carry it over to the water, I sat and waited

This is the "big thing that carries the boat into the water"

Tyler even got to steer the boat for a while, and so did Janice:

OK so this was really cool, we were boating around, and all of a sudden we saw the SPACE SHUTTLE going up into the sky! I tried to get a picture, because you could actually see the shuttle, not just the stream across the sky, it was sparkling in the sun and everything! But, it was going so fast this was all I could get a picture of:

After a little bit, we started to get more brave, and wandered around the front of the boat and everything

I love this picture!!!

Tyler was so excited, at one point out in the ocean we tied up to these big white things anchored down and swam around in the ocean. The water was so clear and blue, we could look over the side of the boat and see the reef below. So Tyler put on the mask and the flippers and tried to touch the bottom of the ocean.

We thought this picture was funny cause you can barely see my swimsuit. I AM WEARING ONE

After swimming, we headed back and just relaxed.

Tyler 1,2,3,4, and 5

I can't sleep and I figured out how to do this from my phone, so this is the result. That was my disclaimer.
I have a history with Tylers. I am married to one and before that I dated a different one, and in jr high I had a crush one one as well as in 3rd grade. The first Tyler though was in first grade. He had blonde spikey hair and glasses. I used to write him love notes and I would sneak them in his desk. I would say things like "dear Tyler, I love you. I want to marry you." One day though, a boy in our class saw me put a note in his desk and he pulled it out and read it outloud in front of the whole class. I was so embarassed, I just sat at my desk and cried. I remember the teacher telling the class that it was good to tell people that you love them, so I felt a little bit better. Then a few weeks later I got a phone call and it was Tyler's mom. She was calling because Tyler was having a birthday party that weekend and he wanted me to come! I asked my mom and she said no!!! I was devastated. I begged my mom, but she said that my sister had been sick and even though I wasn't, I was still carrying the germs. :( sad day. But what can you do. I was too embarassed to tell her I was in love with the kid (i was only in first grade, after all) but I always thought if she had just known, she would have let me go... And that was my first experience with a Tyler.
I don't know why I'm putting this on the blog, but it's a funny story. I love first grade love stories! And ever since then, I guess I've been drawn to Tylers! The things we do for love...
I gotta say though, MY Tyler that I married is DEFINITELY the best of the bunch!

In Other News

So, I have been slacking lately in the blog department and for that I feel guilty, so I am going to give you some news in this post to make up for it hopefully and then all will be even and square.

We are looking at apartments and will hopefully be in to a cute little (really little) apartment in Pembroke Pines a block away from Tyler's school and work by the end of this month. Really, asap. Tyler's work is going well, and on slow days he gets to practice golf, which he appreciates.
We were staying at my cousin Shelley's to watch their cat for a couple of days while they were on a cruise, and now we're back in my Grandma's guest bedroom. Once we get moved in, I will for sure post pictures... other than that it's just work for Tyler and well... hopefully you've figured out what I've been up to. I tell you what, it's a tricky business, sure does wear me out!

Welcome!
