Nicholas walking

Nicholas is learning to walk, and he's getting better every day. So, we figured we would document this stage of it before he becomes a pro. :) So cute!

At the end, I realized that letting him have the phone probably wasn't the best idea! And then he got really mad when I took it away. So cute!

I need your help!

I decided that in order to help support my family while Tyler is in school, I would start selling Pampered Chef products as an Independent Consultant! I am really excited about this, it has been super fun so far. I have done a couple of shows that have gone really well and I can't wait to do more. (Special thanks to Lindsay and Lynsey!)

So, for my first month, I am pretty close to the goal that I set for myself and this is where I need your help. For helping me, you could be rewarded greatly! Here is the deal:

1. Go to www.pamperedchef.biz/tjohanson , browse the products and place your order on or before August 30th, 2010
2. Make sure when you place your order that you put me as the HOST
3. The first 5 people to place an order over $50 will get $15 of additional stuff free! That's an awesome deal!
4. Plus, EVERYONE who places an order over $60 gets to pick one of the Pampered Chef sauces free
Just make sure you place your orders between now and August 30th, 2010

Also, if you're interested in doing an online catalog party of your own (and earn tons of free stuff, and half priced items) then just let me know!

I really do love this stuff, I made a roasted chicken with potatoes and carrots in the deep covered baker (which is now a 'host only' item) and it turned out so super moist and flavorful it was crazy! The missionaries that we fed tonight were asking if I'd gone to culinary school, and I just laughed and said "no I just love cooking." AND they have no idea how easy it was!

Quick Trip

First things first, today was the first day of school. So, we have Tyler headed off to class and David also had his first day of classes today!

Last weekend we took a (last minute) trip to South Florida for Shelly's birthday. We decided we just couldn't miss it. So, Grandma was awesome and let us stay with her for a few days and we had a blast! Here is Nicholas having fun in the pac 'n play that he slept in.

Shelly's birthday party was a pizza party. We showed up and they said "You didn't really think we were just going to order pizzas for everyone did you?" So, they had these cute hats for everyone and gave us all Italian names. Mine was Julianna and Janice was Linguini. Then we all made our own homemade pizzas with whatever toppings we wanted. It was SOOOO much fun. :)

When we got home that night, Grandma tried on David's hat. Very fashionable!

Nicholas loved sitting at the table like the big kids!

(I love this expression!)

This was in the car on the ride home, nice and comfy!

In other news, he is finally holding his bottle on his own. It took a while... lazy kid! (Also, he loves his new pajamas, thanks Grandma Janice!)

The way to a man's heart

I love to cook and I've been having fun trying  out new recipes lately! I use the word recipe as the loosest of terms. Usually I just make stuff up (as in, I can pretty much gather what it needs to taste the way I want). But, I started selling Pampered Chef recently, so I have been using some of their recipes to practice, and I am loving them!

Either way, it's fun and tasty!

I thought this was funny and had to take a picture. I couldn't get one that showed the baby too, he was in his seat on the floor next to Tyler. All those boys... I was feeling outnumbered!

And here are my two favorite boys! Aren't they cute?

Gotta Get Ready!

Since David is here in Gainesville with us, there are certain rules... and so today he became a man.

All about the pictures

Yesterday was Hunter's 5th birthday so we went over and had cake and ice cream to celebrate!

Here he is making his wish!

The babies both tried some of the cake and loved it, of course!

Then we went outside so Hunter could hit his Transformer pinata

Here are just a few pictures of Nicholas... doin' what he does!

He loves to ride in shopping carts

A while ago, we went to the Orlando Temple and I took pictures on my phone (because I left the memory card in the computer... oops!) So I finally got around to getting the pictures from my phone and here they are:

A nice girl took this picture for us so that we could both be in it

After the temple, we found an awesome (and very authentic) Mexican restaurant, and they just happened to have live mariachi  music on the day we were there.

I just thought this was cute. Don't judge me.

Welcome!
