Visit to Utah

Last week we flew out to Utah to visit with family and friends, and enjoy some good ole fashioned Pioneer Day celebrations. :)

When I first arrived, my first request was lunch at Wingers, so me and my mom went out to eat and I got my wing on!

On the 23rd we went with Tyler's family in the evening to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. It was really neat to walk through and see. Afterward we took a family picture outside, and so this is the whole family, except for Nathan and Leora, who we missed!

On the 24th we started out the day by attending the Ogden City Parade with Tyler's family. Here are a bunch of parade pictures:

Of course, the missionaries marched in the parade, and they were of course singing hymns. LOL

I took these pictures for my dad, who loves tractors. He is especially fond of the John Deer!

On Saturday, Tyler's family and my family threw us a baby shower, and we are so grateful for everyone who came. We loved seeing everyone and getting to visit, and are so grateful for all of the cute blankets and gifts. Here are some of those:
Tyler's mom gave us back Tyler's old baby blanket. He was pretty excited to see his alphabet Care Bears again!

These little shoes are VANS and they are SOO cute! Tyler loves them!

After the shower, we went back to my parents house, and had a barbeque in honor of David's 18th birthday. Grandma Gloria came and my dad grilled burgers and hot dogs, and corn on the cob, and we all had a blast! The weather was perfect out on the back porch, not too hot!

And Franklin even got a piece of the pie. Or rather, hot dog!

And what would a backyard BBQ be without a little water fight with the mister?

So, the trip was way too short but we did get to see a lot of people and are glad for that! This is us on the plane ride home. The baby either loved the plane ride or hated it because he was kicking me like crazy for the whole time on the plane.

Thanks to all the family and friends who took the time to get together with us, at the shower and all the rest of the time! Hopefully we will see you all again soon! We would love to have visitors here in Florida too ;) Also we want to thank cousin Shelley, and Uncle Rich & Aunt Sammi for getting us to and from the airport!

Also, Tina/Eva came down for a visit this week which was fun! Of course, we all passed around the baby and had lots of family visits.

Tina and Charlie had a sleepover at me & Ty's place and so here we are in our PJs just chillaxin'.

And this is me hanging out with the baby the next day. He likes me.

Ribbit

Tyler did a good deed today! There was a frog in the hallway of our
apartment building. We don't know how he got in but I doubt he would
have been able to find his own way out, so Tyler chased him down and
picked him up, and we put him back outside where he could go on with
his happy little froggie life.
