Florida Vacation

I figured I had better document the fun stuff we did with both sets of grandparents before too much time passes.

Fun things we did: Miami Seaquarium, Sawgrass Airboat Ride in the Everglades, Boat ride up the Intercoastal on Shelly and Janice's Boat, Hollywood Beach

Nicholas had tons of fun (and so did we! ) with his Grandparents. This was the night before they left to go back to Utah. Hopefully we get to do this again soon! Love you guys!

Baby Blessing & Grandparents

This is Nicholas's mad face. He was mad 'cuz I put him down.
Here he was getting ready for the big game Saturday against Alabama. He watched the game with us, and was just as upset as his dad was at the outcome. I think they both cried a little. (just kidding, but it was pretty disappointing...!)
This was on Wednesday when the grandparents first arrived. My dad and Janice were both super anxious to get their hands on him.

This was Janice delivering a great big hug from Sierra.
This was the blessing day, he was such a good boy during his blessing. He is always good during church.

Thanksgiving

I took this picture tonight while we were watching a movie. Tyler and Nicholas were hanging out on the floor and Nicholas was pushing his head up so well.

For Thanksgiving, we went to.... You guessed it: Shelly & Janice's! :) Here are some pics from the feast.

We had this awesome outfit on Nicholas. The sweater he's wearing is argyle. We love argyle.
You can't read it from this angle, but Janice thought she would be funny and put Nicholas's dinner place card in my shirt. LOL
Here are some random cute pics of baby Nicholas (ie- Monkey Guts, Chunky Monkey, Baby T, Nicky-Poo, etc)

Sleeping Baby

We are willing to recognize and admit that we have a problem. We take TONS of pictures of this little guy, but we are just in love with him and he's so cute we can't stand to not snap pictures so we never forget how he looked at that exact moment.

Plus, in our defense, we do have family who don't get to see all these little moments because we live so far away, so it's for them as well! :)

Look Sierra, there's pooh on this blanket!
This is his "What the heck" look-
Tyler does this at least once a day. He lifts him up in the air and says "Simba!..."

We find the baby a lot of the time, sleeping with his arms up behind his head. Tyler asked me the other day if I thought it could be hereditary because he always does it too. I always put Tyler's arms down though, because they fall asleep when he sleeps like that. But the other day I came into our room, and found Tyler and the baby side by side just doing their thing. Naturally I ran and grabbed the camera. (It's never far away!)

Evening of Football and the such

As a by the way I added commentary to the original post from when Nicholas was born.

Tonight we were of course watching the Gators beat Vandy, and Nicholas was enjoying every minute of it. (nevermind the fact that he can't even see the TV yet)

He has his arms up here because he's cheering enthusiastically for the Gators with his little Football

He's such a chill little guy, here he is hangin out with Mom.
And sleeping on dad's lap, in his little froggy leg position

Tyler got some skeleton suckers from Janice when she and Shelly came over for dinner the other day, and here he is enjoying that... and also trying to share.

This is from a few days ago, it's so funny how the baby tries to eat anything that comes near his mouth. Tyler decided to take a picture when we were snuggling and he tried to eat my face.

Welcome!
